Sandi Fellman Vessels are handmade, one of a kind stoneware and porcelain. Sandi works at the world-renowned Greenwich House Pottery, in New York City.

The sensuality of form, palette, and surface merge uniquely in the making of each piece. Banding is hand applied using terra sigillata (an ancient ceramic technique which roughly translates as “sealed earth”).

The play of dualities: light/dark, inside/outside, shine/matt, modern/ancient, and perfection/imperfection are a constant discourse in the creative process, (and a nod to Sandi’s photographic work).

“My process is visceral and intuitive. It is refreshing to make things that are both beautiful and functional”.
